There are several free ways to generate free traffic to your website. Some of them are simple to use and straight forward. Some are more complicated and referred to as viral. There is enough on this page to easily generate over 5000 hits per day to your website. It's a good idea not to use the same resources with the same ads day after day because the people viewing your ads get used to them. It's better to rotate traffic generating tools and ads on a regular basis and it is best not to spend all of your time on one type of traffic resource.

These are very good for recruiting a downline.

Safelists

Safelists are comprised of members who have agree to receive commercial emails. As you become a member, you will also agree to receive emails from the other members. You will need a "Contact" email address and a "List" email address. The list address is where all of the members will send their commercial emails and it will receive a large number of emails each day. The contact address is where the administrator of the safelist site will contact you and also send what they call solo ads that members pay for. It will receive a lot fewer emails than the list address. Do not use your primary email address for either one of these.

There are credit based safelists and non-credit based lists. Credit based lists require you to read emails to earn credits or buy credits to be able to send your emails out and they are much more responsive than non-credit based lists. Pay-to-click sites will pay you in the form of advertising credits or small amounts of money when you view members' ads. If you buy advertising packages for $1-$5 dollars, you will be able to get thousands of views to your websites. They have allow you to place banner ads, email ads, website ads, featured ads, paid to read ads, click exchange ads, and paid sign up offers for your affiliate programs. These are a great way to generate a lot of traffic.

Auto-surf

Free auto-surf sites do what their name implies. You sign in or click on your auto-surf URL and the site cycles through member websites on your computer monitor. Some of the sites put checks in to make sure that you are sitting in front of your monitor and some don't. If you need a lot of hits to your website, this is the way to do it but, beware. Major search engines like Google penalize your website rankings for using these sites. Some search engines allow you to use these and it is possible to earn money with some pay-to-promote (PTP) sites that pay you for showing ads on their sites. Viral Marketing

Viral sites are called viral because they hopefully get your traffic to increase exponentially after you do a small amount of work.
