Unlike
what the Senator
says, in this system of checks and balances, Congress is
required to not take the President at his word. Through the VA,
Medicaid, Medicare, the FDA, the AMA, the AHA, industry specific
legislation, and regulations written by the various other
bureaucracies, the government already controls health care and it
has consistently limited resources on behalf of the health care
industry in order to keep availability and options down in order to
keep prices and profits increasing for over 100 years. http://bit.ly/12gbbt
The
people working on this bill are the same people from Congress and
the industry infiltrated bureaucracy that have been controlling
health care and the rest of the economy all along. The bill will
allow the government to take more and help the industry target 50
million more people. Since there hasn't been a mention of increasing
the number of resources that 50 million more people will require,
supply will be effectively further decreased and prices will go up.
Enough new doctors or hospitals cannot possibly created by 2013 when
the bill takes effect. If we are paying for the uninsured now, we
will be paying more for the insured later. We are going to get less
for more if this bill passes.
According
to a White House statement issued after Joe Wilson spoke up on our
behalf, citizenship verification enforcement was not in either bill.
http://bit.ly/1L6OTn Shortly later the Senate put
it in. http://bit.ly/CvyTD It remains to be seen if the
Senate pulls one of its old tricks and strips it from the bill just
before the vote or it is stripped when the bill is sent back to the
house. If the administration manages to get amnesty passed under the
guise of immigration reform, it really doesn't matter. We will not
only continue to pay for the newly insured, we will be also paying
for millions of illegal, suddenly made legal, aliens and the health
care market will be further increased as taxpayers subsidize the
industry. Congress will have 3 years to work on it.
The
only acceptable way to reform health care is to go back and repeal
the legislation that has limited the number of insurance companies,
doctors, medical schools, care centers, medications, and treatments
and allow the supply to increase driving the prices down. It will
take about ten years to start seeing the effects.
Cap
and trade, like the health care bill, is nothing more than another
government money grab that also creates another vehicle for Wall
Street to make money on. Already existing carbon credits for farms
have been traded up to $40 on the Chicago exchange and the farmers
are not buying. The way to clean up the environment is not to remove
the capital from the economy that it needs to adopt green
technology. http://bit.ly/f9jN3
An
exponentially growing share of the population is becoming aware of
these things as evidenced by the Tea Parties and the demonstrations
on 9/12. Hopefully, we will be able to keep these oppressive and racist agendas
from being implemented.
