Articles: Government - Make Them Listen

The public servants that we elect to serve us seem to serve a beast of their own creation instead of their masters. They make us promises during campaigns and, once in office, pay no heed to the commitments that put them there. After the election is over, they enter into a reality of their own that is outside of the will of the American people, but somehow, we have to get them to listen to the things that we have been telling them.

  • We don’t want them to ignore our emails, faxes, and phone calls.
  • We don’t want to be involved in illegal wars.

  • We don’t want to meddle in other countries’ affairs so much that the world hates us so much that we can’t travel abroad safely. Put the CIA and every other dog that has been set loose on a leash.

  • We don’t want trade agreements that say that we have to buy another country’s products, but they don’t have to buy our products until we run out of money.

  • We don’t want our military scattered around the universe. We want it here so that it can protect us instead of there serving to make people angry with us and the world more dangerous.

  • We don’t want to give the banks more money that only serves to impoverish our children and grandchildren. We know that we are not facing a disaster if we don’t try to save the banking system. We have a disaster on our hands because we have a banking system. Any bank that can’t manage its money should not get its hands on our money and it needs to go away.

  • We don't want an irresponsible central bank that serves only to destroy our currency and impoverish us and our offspring. We don't want to borrow our own currency from this private bank and pay interest on it. We don't want anyone from this bank to be in charge of our treasury.

  • We don't want to be part of a global banking system that serves only to impoverish the world.

  • We don’t want our children’s money used, in the form of a stimulus, to pay off unions that helped people get elected or to create jobs for illegal aliens.

  • We don’t want a stimulus that allows the government to make decisions about our healthcare that should be made by our doctors and us.

  • We don’t want our borders left open or to give amnesty to anyone who has disrespected our laws.

  • We don’t want the government to take our money and give it to someone else. Leave our money alone and we will decide who to give it to and who to help.

  • We don’t want the government to put our companies out of business with regulation. Make laws that say if companies do anything that hurts us or destroys our property, those responsible will be arrested, prosecuted, and incarcerated instead.

  • We don’t want the government to take away our right to protect ourselves. Leave our guns alone.

  • We don’t want the government to try to regulate morality. As long as we are not hurting anyone, we want to be able to do what we want to do.

  • We do not want to give up our freedom because the government says that it will make us safer. We want the government to protect our liberty.

  • We don’t want to pay for a government that only grows bigger and more limiting as each year passes. We want a smaller, limited government that stays out of our lives.
  • We don't want our states' rights to be taken away and our states destroyed by federal intervention.
  • We don't want companies to be forced to buy carbon credits that they will only pass on to us in the price of their products and do nothiing to reduce pollution. We do not want to pay companies to pollute. Encourage economic growth throught alternative energy.

We have been telling our public servants these things over and over only to have them listen less and less. If they stop doing these things, we will prosper. If they don’t, we won’t. We must get them to listen.

Click here to tell them again and again until they start to hear us and obey our wishes.
