No matter how far you roam and how much
fun you have while you're there, you always feel good when you get
home. Human beings need a home in order to feel secure and have a
sense of belonging. A home is as important to your well being
as food and water. You need to take care of it. Imagine if, whenever
people ask you where your are from, your answer is,
"Nowhere".
More and more, people are starting to
make their homes the center of their lives. Thanks to technological
advancements, people are avoiding long commutes and traffic by
working at home and staying in touch with the office via their
Internet connections. Improvements in televideo conferencing are
making this more effective. As telecommunications providers continue
to expand the capabilities of their infrastructures, companies may
save money on office space while allowing employees to also save
money on transportation costs and be much more productive in the
comfort of their homes.
There are also other benefits to this
arrangement. There would be fewer accidents with people avoiding
dangerous commutes, less smog, and less wear and tear on the roads.
Less parking space would be required allowing for more effective use
of land and obviously, the people who did have to go into the office
would enjoy less congested cities.
With developing problems in education,
more parents are choosing home schooling as the preferred source of
the children's learning. Again, technology is making this more
possible with the enormous amount of information available online.
Home schooling support websites are beginning to pop up. You can
also get a college degree or go for your Masters without walking out
the front door. Soon, interactive classes will be presented to
children online with the parent standing by to reinforce the content
and help with any problems.
Speaking of children, both parents
could still work, as is usually the case now, and
children, who did attend public schools, would no longer be
arriving to empty homes. Children would feel much more safe and
secure. The psychological effects would be huge as kids walk through
the door once more yelling, "Hey, mom" or "I'm home". Parents would
also feel much better knowing where their kids are at.
Take care of your home and keep it
clean and uncluttered. Your life depends on it.
