Articles: Self - Strange Things That Happen

By Web Smith

Have you been thinking of someone and had him or her call you on the phone or send you an email in the next few moments or dreamed about something only to have it come true a short while afterwards? Maybe you have felt a sense of danger or uneasiness only to round a curve in the road to see another vehicle stalled or a group of bike riders ahead. Many parents have said that they have had a strong sense of foreboding just prior to one of their children being hurt or that they knew that their child on the other side of the country had suffered in some way before they talked to them.

Scientists have studied these phenomena and have espoused many theories many of which border on the supernatural, but perhaps they are a result of the physical world and not as mystical as they seem.*

The dash on your keyboard is about 70 million atoms long. If the nucleus of one of the atoms was the diameter of the dash, the first electron cloud would extend out just over a half mile or about a kilometer away. Electrons are not little round balls circling around a nucleus, but they are an amount of energy vapor that is attracted by a particlular nucleus. As positrons and neutrons are added to a nucleus, the additional amount of energy that they attract, measured in electrons, makes the atom only slightly bigger as the additional attraction compresses the additonal energy around the neucleus making the atom heavier and harder. If you took all of the energy vapor from your body, your car, or your home, you and they would not be visible to the naked eye. If we could see all things as they really are, we would see globs of energy with varying amounts of energy moving in and out of them. Some of them would be moving about. All of the things in the universe are constructed using closely identical neutrons, positrons, and other things that are mostly theoretical in existence. Energy is also all the same and is shared by all things in the universe. It is not as stationary to one object as the Neutrons and Positrons are and quite often moves from one object to the other. All things living and not living are constructed from these same components. There are just more or less of them in the atoms involved in the construction of different objects and fundamentally, you are closely related to a rock, a car, a flower, a worm, a jet, the sun, and everything else in the universe.

Different things cause us to expel or attract energy. There’s heat, cold, rain, wind, and all of our other activities. Emotions cause changes in our heart rate, body temperature, and brain wave activity. With each change an increase or decrease in the amount of energy we expel or take in is created. Intense thought is suspected to cause as much energy exchange as running or swimming. Inanimate objects also release and take in energy depending on what they are exposed to and what they are doing. When you are hurt or angry, you are not the same physical being that you are when you are healthy and happy. A rock flying through the air is not the same object that it was lying on the ground. Due to the almost infinitely small amounts of energy that can exist, it is improbable that any two things are identical or exposed to exactly the same things at the same time so, it is unlikely that any two things are giving off or taking in the exact same amount of energy at the same time. We could think of everything in the universe as having its own unique energy signature, like a fingerprint, depending on what it is doing or what is happening to it at the moment.

A rock flying through the air is not the same rock that it was lying on the ground. It is a rock flying through the air. A car stalled in the road around the curve is not just a car. It is a car stalled in the road. Your son who is the other side of the country and just broke his arm is not just a boy who broke his arm. He is your son who just broke his arm. Everything in its immediate condition has its own unique energy signature.

It is quite possible that when you subconsciously or consciously think about the possibility of a stalled car or bike riders being around the curve ahead that you prepare your body to take in the exact amount of energy that corresponds to their energy signatures. It is as possible that your subconscious worry about your son being in danger or hurt prepares you to take in the exact energy signature reflecting this. Your friend who is about to call you is not just your friend. He or she is your friend who is about to call you.

On the down side, if you spend your time thinking about bad things, you prepare yourself to accept bad energy signatures. It is generally accepted that if you want your life to be good, think good things. If you want it to be bad, think about bad things.

To understand how you get information about events that will happen in the future is to accept that there is a divine power in the universe that causes, plans, or knows about everything that will happen. Einstein thought in terms of trying to figure out how God did things. By thinking in terms of an all powerful presence, anything would be possible and you would not be boxed in by physical laws that others had created so, you would be more susceptible to exploring new ideas. Maybe that is why Einstein was so successful. Information about the future usually concerns the ones that we love and love is such a strong emotion that it may prepare us better and more easily to accept it than others.

When you take all of these things into consideration, things that seem weird or unusual become probable. The more we get in touch with the power in the universe, the more we will be able to develop these capabilities. The first step is to believe that we can.

* Since this article was written, a Japanese physicist has proven that teleportation of energy is possible.
