If you use them properly, you will easily get over 500 hits per day to your website. Be sure and check past newsletters and my site for things that aren't in this newsletter. Notes I know that I have said this many times before, but if you want to bootstrap your online business you just can't neglect your local marketing and sales efforts. One of my local customers is having an engagement party for their daughter this weekend and ordered over $2,000 worth of candy, cookies, gourmet foods, wine, and other items from my website. They wanted to have things that could not be purchased locally. I met this customer standing in line at the local Safeway store, gave him my card, and it has  been gravy ever since. Can you imagine $2,000 worth of junk food? Can you imagine the clean up? Until you raise the money through product sales to be able to sign up for Google Adsense or some other paid advertising, your local sales efforts will be your primary source of revenue. The thing is that, with the free online promotional tools that are available, you are reaching sellers as opposed to buyers.  That is why it is easy to sign up affiliates with these tools and harder to make sales. That doesn't mean that they won't buy. Sellers buy too. You do not have to launch a major campaign with mailings and fliers. Just talk to people when you go out. The person that you talk to as you hand them your card is 100 times more likely to buy from you than the person who sees your website ten times. This number is offset online because you can reach many more people online than you can offline. Ads The free ads that I place continue to be solid performers. The click through rate has inched up over 7% with some of the ads, like the one for Brad Callen's SEO book, exceeding 19%. It is hard to imagine that anyone would try to say that these don't work. Books I have added "Think and Grow Rich" for you to download and read. Training I have started through the free audios I received again. The information was so good that I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss something.  These videos are from a weekend seminar that people paid $3,000 to attend. They cover everything from offline marketing to email marketing and Adsense. The presenters are all people who have started at the bottom and become rich. You will be glad you listened to these.
